We book quite a lot of adults only, couples vacations at Secrets Resorts. These are very similar to Sandals - beautiful locations, dazzling night life, delicious food and romantic touches everywhere. One of the main differences between these 2 resorts is price! Secrets is much more affordable than Sandals. For example, we have clients who love going to Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets Montego Bay in Jamaica. The price for these are around $ 4,300 for two people compared to over $ 6,000 for the Sandals Jamaica Montego Bay.
Sandals Resorts are located mainly in the Caribbean, there are none in Cancun or Riviera Maya in Mexico. I saved the best for last ... The Secrets Papagaya in Costa Rica. I am putting this one on my bucket list. I have been to Costa Rica and it is one of my favorite vacation destination. This resort is located on the stunning Papagayo Peninsula in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It is only a short 20 minute drive from the Liberia International Airport. I was holding my breath as I was reading more about this resort, hoping in was in Guanacaste and close to the Liberia Airport. The other alternative would have been flying into San Jose and about a 4 hour drive to Guanacaste. That's no fun!
